Heron Eccles has been a football destination for over two decades. The existing building was adapted and reopened as the Leisure United hub in October 2018. The centre boasts a full size grass pitch, and two, floodlit 3G pitches. These are the fields of dreams, played on by the very best local talent. Established FA affiliated teams, to Sunday league teams to fun kick arounds between friends. Whatever your abilities, you deserve the best facilities.

Get going! Kick off your footie, sign up for our hotly contested local leagues or tackle a tournament. Our state-of-the-art learning facility is the venue of choice for the Steven Gerrard Academy offering Sports at Levels 2 & 3, focussing on football as the pathways to Foundation Degrees and UEFA Coaching Qualifications.
